With internationals this weekend there is only 1 SFL game int he 3rd Division. That game will count towards game week 3's points.

Important Note: Player values will now start to change.. so shrewd transfering really matters now :)
The value of players will gradually change depending on their form, whether they are injured etc. It can go up and down and may change every week. The most a value can change in 1 game week is by 0.3 points.

That's the 2nd week of SFL fun finished. So log in, see how your team did and make any transfers you want. Here's some hints for using the site:

• Player values don't change until after game week 3 so you can pick up bargains.
• In the Make Transfers screen, use the stats drop down menu and select Latest Game Week to see who did well this week.
• You can see the team other player's have picked from the last game week by clicking on their team name in a league table
• You can see a player's stats for the whole season and each game week by clicking on their name in the Latest Points or Make Transfers screen

The game week results are in for Game Week 1 so log in and get transfering. Quick guide to new players:

• When you log in you will be shown your team's points for this game week
• You will be shown a list of any automatic substitutions happened. A substitution only happens if one of your players does not play at all, and your sub for that position does
• Your captain will have earned you double points. This is indicated by the points inside the brackets
• To make transfers just click on Make Transfers. You can now only make 2 transfers per week so choose carefully
• The player values will not change till game week 3 so you have time still to bargain hunt
• You can sort the list of players to select from for your team by clicking on any of the column headers

I have also fixed the league issue so now everyone should appear in the right leagues

The game week results are in for Game Week 1 but there is something wrong with all the leagues. I will try and fix this tonight.

So as many of you who have registered new teams have spotted your teams are not appearing in the mini leagues. Don't worry I have now found and fixed the bug so you should see you team in the mini leagues you are entered into.

Note: if you do register, it may take till the nightly update for your team to appear in the mini leagues.

For those who don't know when you register you are automatically added the mini league for fans of the favourite team you registered and also for the overall league for that team's division and finally in the Team of the Season league.

Remember that altho you have as many transfers as you like before the first game week.. after the first game week you can only make 2 per game week. So pick carefully!

Ok, the season has opened. Get selecting your team!! Changes for this season are:

• Removed points for Man of the Match due to difficulty of getting accurate data
• Removed restriction on teams per email. Enter as many teams on the same email as you like
• See your clubs live twitter feed when viewing the Fans of your Favourite Club
• All new redesigned site! Prettier, easier, better (I hope!!)

Besides the new stuff all the great things from last season are still here:

• Play in any legal formation
• Select a captain to score double points
• Create your own mini leagues for you and your friends
• Same great system for player buying, values and points only found on Fantasy Lower Leagues
• The only place you can play Fantasy Football for the Scottish Division 1, 2 and 3!!!
• And it is totally free

Thanks to all the hard work form the volunteers and a little by myself... the season is nearly ready to be opened. It hsould open on Thursday night so check back or look out for an email.

After some feedback and emails I have decided to try and make Fantasy Lower Leagues a community SFL effort. I am currently looking for volunteers who can give a little of their time each week to enter match data. I will provide a website to do this and will help out of course. Contact me by clicking here.

I am very sorry to announce that at this point Fantasy Lower Leagues will not be running this season. I have been running this site for 4 years now and I enjoyed it a lot and learnt a lot. However it take a lot of my time every weekend to update data and keep squads up to date. The site also has been difficult to manage behind the scenes and I simply don't have the time to put into the site to keep it going at a quality I am happy with.

If I could start again I would create a much cleaner more modern site but it takes a long time and developing a fantasy football site requires much more effort than I ever realised.

I would like to thank everyone who supported me over the years and I hope you enjoyed playing.
